Types of Engagements
Although there are a number of ways I can initially engage with your organization, there are five in particular which are most common. Those engagement types are:

Fractional CMO and GTM Advisory Services
If your organization is not at the stage to support a full time C-level marketing, growth or go-to-market executive, I will work as an advisor alongside your GTM teams to fill the role of CMO, CGO, CGTMO, CRO or CSO—4 to 24 hours per week depending upon my availability—with engagements starting at 12 weeks in length. Please note if you are looking for me to directly manage employees, lead teams, participate in hiring or termination processes, attend Board meetings or travel on behalf of your company, these tasks typically fall into an 'Interim Executive' engagement as noted below.

Marketing Leadership Mentoring
If your marketing leader is struggling to think strategically, manage people, drive results, report performance or manage change, I can work alongside your Head of Marketing as both an experienced mentor and a sounding board for 4 hours per week. Mentoring focuses can include—but are not limited to—critical thinking, strategy development, prioritization, communication skills, goal and KPI setting, personnel management, meeting facilitation, and performance reporting to the Board and Executive Team.

Go-To-Market Process Optimization
If you're considering an independent evaluation of one or more components of your organization's go-to-market process, I will perform a comprehensive review of specific GTM motions, including but not limited to the following:

These engagements most commonly begin with either a Lead Generation or Agency / Vendor Evaluation focus. GTM Process Optimization can be done for individual product and service lines, or all lines depending upon your organization's needs. In addition, you are free to customize the scope of a GTM Process Optimization by choosing the specific areas to focus on.​

Interim or Transitional Executive Placement
If your current go-to-market executive has announced plans to exit, is being transitioned out or is taking extend parental leave, I will fill the vacated role of CMO, CGO, CGTMO, CRO or CSO on an interim basis—up to 20 hours per week. Unlike Fractional CMO and GTM Advisory Services (the first option above) Interim and Transitional Placements include services like managing employees on a day-to-day basis, attending weekly ELT meetings, attending Board meetings, performing employee reviews, tracking KPIs, approving expenses, and leading both hiring and termination efforts. This option may also include travel on behalf of your company.

Acquisition and Investment Due Diligence
If your company is considering a merger, acquisition or potential investment in another firm, I can lead the due diligence process for the Marketing and GTM functions—including Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Communications, Channel Marketing, Social Media, Analyst Relations, Events, and Web & Digital.
